Let’s put aside my 90s heart for Batman with this one. Would have loved to be that literal with it but…really, it was me playing with the concept of were people. I’ve been conscious of werewolves ever since Michael J Fox put on the basketball jersey. The concept of other weres such as panthers, bears, etc did not tickle my brain until I entered the Sookie Stackhouse realm in my late 20s.
It is a fascination, and I played with it as I created this were cat woman. Love the idea of her being able to walk straight off the runway and into huntress mode, ready to take what is hers. Wishing her powers are not limited to just shape shifting. She can use her claws to cut through time, leaping to where ever the moment suits her. Either way she will do it with a fierceness and precision of a giant cat, regardless of her current form.
Perfect gift for someone that wants to be reminded of their fierceness and could tell their own story about the “Cat Woman.”
This is a handcrafted paper collage from used books and magazines like LIFE, National Geographic, etc.
You're purchasing the 8×10 png digital download file. No physical item will be shipped to you, and the frame is not included.
