If you haven’t figured this out yet, I’m gifted an IMMENSE amount of previously purchased paper. Only half of the stash that litters my living room (aka Rad Quail Studios) were purchased by me. A dear friend keeps me in constant supply of New Mexico magazine with an occasional Victoria lifestyle magazine tossed in the mix. Victoria threw me for a loop with its fancy petit fours, elaborate cottage designs, and vintage floral wallpaper…what was I to do with a cottage core aristocrat’s wet dream…
Then one day it hit me, how much I missed seeing the décor my grandma rosemaled all over her and my aunt’s homes. How I admired her beautiful even and smooth strokes, and the simplistic yet elegant designs. That’s when I started turning the garish wallpaper and floral footstools into peddles and leaves. Creating simple and modern Scandinavian flowers with embedded Vicotria patterns that pop more upon closer inspection.
Perfect for anyone in your life with at least one piece of Ikea furniture. I jest. Really, it is for anyone who appreciates how changing your line of sight can reveal multiple truths.
This is a handcrafted paper collage from magazines like Victoria and New Mexico magazine. There are also currently two pieces in this collection, check out Blueberry Galaxy Flower.
You're purchasing a 5×7 png digital download file. No physical item will be shipped to you and the frame is not included.
