Sometimes, I find an image that I can’t shake out of my head. When that mood strikes, I usually can’t collage with anything else and it becomes the focal point of an entire collage. The obsession develops fast and usually consumes hours ferociously. Such was the case with this cozy delicate fox. Immediately I knew what and who was going to be my inspiration as well.
The fox evoked whimsy and beauty, which made me think of my mom. So, I became obsessed with creating a whimsical dreamy collage for her delicate beautiful guest room.
Just as I was about to give up on finding the right background for this cutie…I came across the lavender sky with a glowing sun. Loved the idea of this adorable fox finding a safe place amongst the mountains and clouds to nap. She would be all tucked amongst the clouds dreaming of munching on berries and catching voles.
Perfect gift for the individual who loves a cozy space and adorable animals.
This is a handcrafted paper collage from books and magazines like LIFE, National Geographic, etc.
